Eric Long, Guitar Instructor

Eric Long was born in Holly, Michigan and graduated from Fenton High School in 2011. He played alto saxophone in the Fenton Band Program from sixth grade on, and has also studied piano. Eric has been playing guitar and singing since the age of fourteen, studying first with Chris Bayer and later with Jason Demmon of
A Joyful Noise Music Studio.

Eric is currently enrolled in the music program at Oakland University,
where his major is Vocal Performance. He and fellow instructor Corey Kapanka have had success playing shows around the area.

Eric definitely plans to build a career in music. His main goal is to make his mark as a performer and song writer, but wherever he ends up, Eric will be content as long as it involves music. He loves music and enjoys nothing more than jamming alone or with
a good group of musicians.

Eric joined the teaching staff at A Joyful Noise in 2010. Since he loves
to play the blues, it is his favorite type of music to teach his students.
