Hannah Fralick, Piano Hannah Fralick has been an active musician since she began taking piano lessons at age 8. In addition to fine tuning her piano playing and music reading skills, over the years she has also picked up the guitar and developed a unique singing voice. She is involved in the music program at Mott Community College, where she studies music theory, piano, and both classical and jazz vocal styles. Although she is classically trained in piano, she has also dabbled in the jazz combos and ensembles at Mott. She enjoys writing her own songs in folk and jazz styles and is a frequent performer in the Fenton and Flint areas. She has made appearances at establishments such as the Fenton Hotel, the Flint Folk Music Society, and the Fenton Winery. After a stint of touring with local Flint band Empty Orchestra in the spring of 2008 and spending the rest of the summer performing locally and honing her guitar songwriting, she decided to return to her first love of piano and began teaching lessons. She loves teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Having fun while making the student feel very comfortable and at ease is her top priority. She feels a little strange talking about herself in the third person and thinks she should add that she loves mint chocolate chip ice cream. |
